Elvis Presley memorabilia
I won a signed photo of Elvis Presley in a charity raffle. On advice, I took the photo to Christie's auction house in London. I had to produce the letter of authenticity that accompanied the postcard photo. Christie's verified Elvis' signature and placed the item in their worldwide catalogue. I was very excited on the day of the auction. Many famous people from the music world were there bidding for guitars and memorabilia. My postcard photo started at £50 sterling. Hands shot up all over the room. Then, £100, £150, £200... Hands were still shooting up.Eventually, it sold for £400. I was thrilled to bits!
